An assessment evaluates your connected organization against the DevOps Shield policy catalog, surfacing misconfigurations and compliance gaps ranked by severity. Assessments are repeatable and produce a stable result set you can export or trend over time.

Steps

1. Start the assessment. Run dos assessment run (or POST /api/v1/assessments) against your onboarded tenant.
2. Track progress. Poll dos assessment status until the run completes.
3. Review violations. List findings with dos compliance violations --severity High and read the compliance summary.
4. Drill into controls. Cross-reference each finding with the Security Knowledge Base catalog for remediation guidance.
